2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) who already have connection to the Internet and an e-mail account.

Membership in the Pogo Affiliates Program is not grounds for ineligibility.
Employees, officers, and directors of Electronic Arts, along with its affiliated entities, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, legal advisors, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate or receive prizes.
Void wherever restricted, taxed or prohibited by law.

3. Jackpot Games and Prizes

Jackpot Prizes start at $50 U.S. cash and increase by $0.01 every 20 seconds until someone wins the prize or the prize reaches $4,999. If the prize reaches $4,999, it will remain at this amount until someone wins the jackpot. Once a jackpot winner is identified, the game will begin again and the jackpot will be reset to $50. (If the Jackpot is won in the Jackpot amount will be equally divided among all members of the winning team.)
Jackpot Multipliers - Occasionally, there will be Jackpot Multipliers (Double Jackpots or Triple Jackpots) for a particular game. In these cases, if the multiplied jackpot goes above the $4,999 prize limit, the jackpot will be capped at $4,999. For example, if a jackpot of $2,500 is displayed in a Triple Jackpot game, and someone wins that jackpot, the jackpot will be capped at $4,999.

4. Prize Drawings

The Prize Drawings are:

$50 Daily Prize Drawing – Total prize is $50 cash. The drawing is held at approximately 9:00 PM Pacific Time each day. The drawing period for each day begins at 9:01 PM Pacific Time and ends at 9:00 PM Pacific Time the following day.
$250 Weekly Prize Drawing – Total prize is $250 cash. The drawing is held at approximately 9:00 PM Pacific Time every Monday. The drawing period begins every Monday at 9:01 PM and ends at 9:00 PM the following Monday.
$1000 Monthly Prize Drawing – Total prize is $1000 cash. The drawing is held at approximately 9:00 PM Pacific Time on the first day of every month. The drawing period begins the first day of every month at 9:01 PM and ends at 9:00 PM the first day of the following month.

Enter tickets in any cash and merchandise drawing. Tokens have no monetary value, nor can they be directly exchanged for cash. All dollar amounts are given in U.S. currency. All times are given in Pacific Standard Time.

Club Pogo Prize Drawings: Club Pogo members can exchange their prize tokens for tickets in a Club Pogo drawing. The prizes offered in these drawings are available for anyone to win.

Club Pogo members can enter the current Club Pogo drawing in a similar fashion to the Pogo drawings. Members can enter 100 tokens for one ticket in the drawing.
Non-members can participate in the current Club Pogo drawing by mailing in a hand written postcard entry with their Pogo screen name and the e-mail address used on their free Pogo account to: Club Pogo Drawing, Electronic Arts, Member Services, 209 Redwood Shores Parkway, Redwood City, CA 94065
Each postcard entry is worth 10 tickets. Tickets will be entered in the next available Club Pogo drawing after the entry is received.
Participants may enter as many times as they wish.

5. The Double Jackpot Spinner

The Double Jackpot Spinner is a feature of the Club Pogo service. Progressive Cash Jackpots are automatically doubled when won by eligible participants in Double Jackpot Spinner games, provided, however, that if the multiplied jackpot goes above the $4,999 prize limit, the jackpot will be capped at $4,999.
The Double Jackpot Spinner is automatically available to all Club Pogo members. Progressive Cash Jackpot Double Jackpot Spinner Progressive Cash Jackpot Prizes start at $50 U.S. cash and increase by $0.01 every 20 seconds until someone wins the prize or the prize reaches $4,999. If the prize reaches $4,999, it will remain at this amount until someone wins the jackpot. Once a jackpot winner is identified, the game will begin again and the prize will be reset to $50.
Merchandise Jackpot. On occasion, a Double Jackpot Spinner Merchandise Jackpot will temporarily replace the Progress Cash Jackpot Prize in a specific game. The Merchandise Jackpot offers a specific merchandise prize with a retail value of up to $4999. When a Merchandise Jackpot is offered, a fixed number of items maybe available. When all of the items have been awarded, the Progressive Cash Jackpot resumes at $50.
Instant Win Cash Prizes. The Double Jackpot Spinner awards a variety of small denominations ($5, $10 and $25)
Instant Win Merchandise Prizes. The Double Jackpot Spinner awards a variety of different merchandise prizes with a retail value of $1000 or less.
Instant Win Virtual Prizes. The Double Jackpot Spinner also awards prizes of free Game Time on Club Pogo, Discount Coupons and other prizes with no retail value, such as screensavers.
No purchase necessary to win Double Jackpot Spinner prizes. Free Pogo users have a chance to win the same prizes with the same odds by using an Alternative Means of Entry.

Club Pogo Members may play one of the exclusive or non-exclusive games listed above on the Club Pogo Service. If you win the game, you'll be eligible to win a Double Jackpot Spinner Prize for that game. For instructions on how to win a specific Double Jackpot Spinner prize, see the "How to Play" section for that game.
Alternative Means of Entry for Prizes other than Doubled Progressive Jackpots. Register for access to all Alternative Means of Entry Spinner Games (corresponding to the Club Pogo games awarding Double Jackpot Prizes), for a period of one calendar month for a chance to win the Double Jackpot Spinner prizes including the Progressive Cash Jackpot or Merchandise Jackpot, Instant Win Cash Prizes, Instant Win Merchandise Prizes, and Instant Win Virtual Prizes that are available to Club Pogo Members in Exclusive Club Pogo Games, and the Merchandise Jackpots, Instant Win Cash Prizes, Instant Win Merchandise Prizes, and Instant Win Virtual Prizes available to Club Pogo Members when they play the above listed non-exclusive games available on Pogo. (The Progressive Cash Jackpots in the non-exclusive games are already available to Free Pogo users.) Send a handwritten post card with your Pogo screen name and the e-mail address on your free Pogo Account to: "Club Pogo Alternative Means of Entry Spinner Game", Electronic Arts, Member Services, 209 Redwood Shores Parkway, Redwood City, CA 94065. The entry must be received 10 days before the start of the calendar month, or will be applied to the next calendar month (i.e., entries received by April 21 will be eligible for the month of May; entries received after April 21 will be eligible for the month of June). Alternative Means of Entry for Doubled Jackpots. To have access to the Doubled Progressive Jackpots available to Club Pogo Members from the Double Jackpot Spinner, send a handwritten post card with your Pogo screen name and the e-mail address used in your Pogo account on the free Pogo site to: "Double Jackpot Multiplier", Pogo Games, 209 Redwood Shores Parkway, Redwood City, CA 94065. Entitlement to the program is effective for one month from the receipt of the entry. Limit one entry per card, per screen name. During the entitlement period, any Progressive Cash Jackpot you win while playing the non-exclusive games listed above or the Alternative Means of Entry Spinner Games (if you have registered to play those games) will be automatically doubled, provided however, that if the multiplied jackpot goes above the $4,999 prize limit, the jackpot will be capped at $4,999.

6. Notification of Winners

Pogo will notify winners by e-mail. Pogo is not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected notification. E-mail notifications do not constitute a guarantee of payment of any kind.
In order to be declared a winner, Canadian residents may be required to correctly answer a time-limited skill-testing question.
Pogo will verify the eligibility of the winners prior to awarding any prize.
Prizes may not be transferred or substituted, except that Pogo may substitute prizes of equal or greater value at its sole discretion.
In the event a winner does not or cannot accept any prize for any reason within seven (7) days after being notified by Pogo by e-mail that he/she is the winner, his/her prize will be forfeited.
Winners will be required to agree (in writing) to an Affidavit of Eligibility and to provide their full name, address, city, state, postal code, Social Security Number (or Canadian Social Insurance Number) and date of birth, and, where lawful, a Liability and Publicity Release within seven (7) days of notification, or winner's prize may be forfeited.
Prizes will be mailed as checks, in U.S. dollars, within sixty (60) business days after Pogo's receipt of the completed Affidavit of Eligibility and, where applicable, the Liability and Publicity Release.
All federal, state, provincial and/or local taxes/duties are the sole responsibility of the winner.
By accepting the Prize and executing the Liability and Publicity Release, each winner agrees that Pogo may post winner's name on a list of winners, and may use the winner's name, voice, likeness, biographical information, winning entry and statements accurately attributed to winner for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion purposes without further notification or compensation.

7. Obtaining a list of winners

A list of the month's winners can be viewed on the "Recent Winners" page, and is also available by sending a stamped, and self-addressed envelope marked to "Pogo Prize Game Winners", Pogo Games, 209 Redwood Shores Parkway, Redwood City, CA 94065.

8. General Terms and Conditions

Postcard entries: All entries become the property of Pogo and will not be returned to entrant. Entries must be complete, legible, and submitted by the Pogo account holder whose screen name and e-mail address is provided to eligible for entry. Any prize awarded will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the e-mail account associated with the Pogo membership. Automated entries (including but not limited to entries made using any script, macro, bot, mechanical means or sweepstakes service) will not be accepted, and will be disqualified. Pogo is not responsible for incomplete, illegible, or lost post card entries.
In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an entry via e-mail, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account.
The use of machines, computers, scripts or any automated system to play the Games is strictly prohibited and may result in criminal liability under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, Section 1030 of the United States Code. Users may only play the Games with one type, version or copy of browsing software application at any one time. Pogo may terminate and permanently disqualify any entrants who Pogo, in its sole discretion, determines as being in violation of these Official Rules. All decisions by Pogo are final.
In order to discourage and deter misconduct in connection with Game play and drawings on Pogo, Pogo places limits on the total number of tokens players can earn in a given time period. These limits apply both online and in Pogo To Go Games.
Pogo, America Online, Inc., their parents subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, agents, and representatives" are not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operations or transmission; theft or destruction or unauthorized access or alterations of entry materials, computer transmissions, or for technical telephone equipment, electronic, hardware or software, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions of any kind; or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive entry information by Pogo on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof.
Pogo, America Online, Inc., their parents subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, agents, and representatives" are not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed software transmissions which may limit a participant's ability to participate, or damage user's system as a result of participation, or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Games.
If technical difficulties compromise the integrity or ability to continue online registration or play, Pogo reserves the right to terminate the Games prior to the stated date by which all registrations must be received.
By participating in the Games, the entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules. These rules will be interpreted in Pogo's sole discretion, and all determinations made pursuant to these rules by Pogo are final and binding.
Pogo, America Online, Inc., their parents subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, agents, and representatives" are not responsible for: (i) Any condition caused by events beyond their control that may cause the Games, the entry process, or the website to be disrupted or corrupted; (ii) Any injuries, losses, or damages (compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise) of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of any prize, or acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of any prize, or from participation in the Games; (iii) Any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Games or the entry process. Pogo reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel Games in whole or in part, in the event of technical or other difficulties.
By participating in the Games, each participant agrees to release and hold Pogo, its parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives of Pogo, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Games, the entry process, or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
All entries become the exclusive property of Pogo, and as such, Pogo has the right to edit, adapt, modify, publish, promote and otherwise use or not use the entries and the information contained therein in any way it sees fit. Entries will not be returned.
All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply.
